The time has come to finally launch Warparty!
So what is this all about?
Well with the death of the DVD era, and wanting to put stuff out more consistently, I've decided to go down a more online path with YouTube, blogs, and eventually a podcast.
I'm always going to make full-length BMX films just to get the scene together for a premiere, but I feel like maybe more could be added to this idea of bringing the scene together a little more regularly, and really I just needed to create some sort of excuse to try to make all this happen. War Party is my excuse to build this vision.
As I scroll Instagram, YouTube, and the internet in general, I notice a lot of cool stuff happening overseas but, not too much stuff going on down here, I mean we did have the Vans Pro cup and Xgames a couple years back, but I'm talking more about those events I grew up watching on Props like Metro Jam? Etnies Backyard Jam? How do I create something like that once a year? How do we make our own rider of the year thing where we can hop on a plane with a crew and make a video like the Thrasher SOTY trips? There's so much more I feel like we can create than filming for a video for two years and that's kinda exactly what I'm trying to build somehow while documenting the whole thing.
I don’t really know if all that makes sense, but the ball is rolling and I'm so grateful for everyone backing this already by copping a tee, or a har, hoody, etc. Anyone who's following the War Party Instagram, or subscribing to the War Party YouTube, every little part is helping this vision come to life ❤️
